MODULE 4 – BEGINNING THE JOURNEY HOME

This module is all about returning to your core, authentic self, which has always been there, and so the focus of your learning is about letting go–letting go of everything that doesn’t serve your desire to feel happier in that particular aspect of your life, but that also doesn’t serve you if it’s holding you back in the past. Learn about forgiveness, self-compassion and empathy, for a transformative shift in mindset and attitude.

Each week, I will include a few handy tasks and resources. All are optional, of course, but, highly recommended if you want to get the most out of the course. And no, you do not need to do every single journaling prompt.

100 Days of Baggage Reclaim | Week 4

As proof of how small habits can make a profound difference, this book and journaling guide has helped thousands of people to take small steps every day and as part of Build Your Self-Esteem, I’m including it to help you enjoy the wisdom, tips, tools and journaling prompts that I share. Each week of the course, you will receive 7 days of the prompts…plus a little extra. I recommend just doing one per day (doesn’t need more than 5-10 minutes) although, of course, you can opt to do them all in one go. | Download the PDF

How to Write Letters to Your Younger Self

MAKE SURE YOU’RE FULL-CIRCLING IT

When you are criticising or pushing you about something, or you’re holding on very tightly to the past and basically expecting your younger self to be super human, ask yourself: How would I treat someone else who’s going through the same thing? Would I think about and treat a small child in the same way that I have thought about and treated my younger self?

DOING A QUICK UPDATE TO YOUR FILING

Each new insight you gain that makes you that little bit kinder to yourself about the past and shows that you’re shining the light of awareness on your past, say to yourself (or make a note in your journal), Now that I know ______________ about _________________, I realise that ____________.

SEND THE BAGGAGE BACK

One of my all-time favourite small habits that has made me so conscious of where loading up my proverbial baggage trolley with other people’s stuff is to say this affirmation–That’s not mine, that’s theirs, and I’m sending it right back. I say it after I get an annoying email or my mum tries to start something up with me, or when my head gets busy stressing out over something, someone, or my past. It’s me mentally raising the alarm on myself to stay in my own lane.
